Shipping Policy & Freight Allowance

Our Guidelines & Commitments

Freight Allowance Policy

Fidelux Lighting offers a $1,500 freight allowance for all regions which include: NE, SE, NC and SC. All orders ship from CT. Order acknowledgements will be marked freight allowed or cost and freight.

Premium Freight

If Premium Freight is required, these expenses will be the client’s responsibility. If the order doesn’t meet freight allowance, the entire cost of the premium freight will be charged or if the order does meet freight allowance, the difference between standard freight and the premium expenses incurred will be charged. Premium freight can include but is not limited to the following:

  • Expedited or Overnight Shipments
  • Specific day and delivery timings
  • Appointment Required for scheduled deliveries
  • Lift Gate Requirements
  • Limited Access
  • Address Changes after the shipment has left our dock. $25.00 fee per package or pallet will be charged for all address change requests
Shipping Claims

Fidelux is not responsible for shipments after they have been accepted by our shipping carriers. Clients must examine all products upon arrival. If there are any damages, this must be noted on the bill of lading with the carrier at the time of delivery. Any damaged or missing product needs to be notified to Fidelux immediately, no later than 48 hours of delivery to our Customer Service Department. Always include your order number and pictures so we can file our claims with the carrier in a timely manner. Each carrier has different time limits implemented between shipment arrival and when a claim is filed. To meet those requirements, Fidelux must report the claim as soon as possible or the claim will be rejected.

Clients should refuse heavily damaged shipments.
